Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the Ewig application (“Ewig”, “the app”, “we”, “us”) handles your information. We have designed Ewig to be private by default.

The short version

Right now the app does not capture any user data. There are no external libraries used except those provided by Apple, and your personal data does not leave the app.

Information we collect

We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. Ewig has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking.

Where your data lives

The content you save with Ewig, including bookmarks, page snapshots, screenshots, notes, and folders, is stored locally on your device and, if you choose to enable it, in your own personal iCloud account. This data stays under your control. We never receive a copy of it and we cannot access it.

If you use iCloud, your data is handled by Apple under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy. We do not operate any servers of our own and we do not store your data anywhere ourselves.

Third-party libraries

Ewig does not use any external or third-party software libraries, advertising kits, or analytics SDKs. It relies only on frameworks provided by Apple as part of the operating system.

Children’s privacy

Ewig is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

The app does not capture any user data today, but this is open to change in the future. If we ever update Ewig in a way that changes how information is handled, we will update this policy and revise the “Last updated” date above. Any future data collection would be described here before or at the time it takes effect.
